Passing of the Gavel!

2019/2020 President Cory Rehard passes the gavel to 2020/2021 President Jeff Neidig. Even a pandemic didn’t keep the Newcomerstown Rotary Club from continuing to help the community. The Club is looking forward to our future ventures. If you would like to help your community and join a local Service Club, consider The Rotary Club. We would be glad to have new members and new ideas for future projects.

Andrew & Elmer

Members of Newcomerstown High School Future Education Association presented a lesson on the things we think, say or do to the second graders at West Elementary.

Sponsored by the Rotary Club, the student teachers used the book "Andy & Elmer's Apple Dumpling Adventure" by Andrew J. Shoup to teach the meaning of Rotary's 4-way test.  1. Is it the truth?  2. Is it fair to all concerned?  3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Coached by their teacher Mrs. Bowers and counselor Mrs. Robinson, the students developed a lesson plan using hands on activities and interaction from the second graders.  Coloring and activity books were also given to enhance the second graders experience.
